I cut it really short when I was in my late teens, just wanted a really dramatic change and no, it didn't look great but I also dont regret it because I know what it feels like now to have that dramatic change and I also know not to do it again. Important points to keep in mind:
1) Your hair looks great as it is
2) Long hair is much more feminine
3) The wig idea is a very good one!
4) It really is fun to change hair dramatically - it will grow back if you don't like it; a lot does depend on how upset you may be if you really don't like it and miss your old length. But you only live once!

have it cut gradualy and it should be better if it grows long again after.

mine use to go down to my hips. i cut it to my shoulders, that way it is still alittle long but its also not so hot

it was the best thing i have ever done. its absalutly feminine (that was my biggest fear) and it is so incredibly sexy! guys love running thier fingers trough it and playing with it. it has totaly fitted into my style.
