it's a really bad pic.... but i am just trying to give you an idea of what i look like...

ok, so i need a hair style that would look good on me... and with what i wear... i have long dyed black hair... with a green streak in the bangs... and there was green streaks everywhere else.. but they faded to blond now.

i like wearing plaid trips.. or plaid bermuda shorts... i wear v neck quarter sleeved thermals. and tight shirts that i make in graphic arts class... i wear low top converse... or my red and black plaid flats... sometimes when i'm lazy i wear my slip ons that have white skulls all over.... so what would look good with my style? and my face?

btw... a picture of the hairstyle would be much appreciated.

i think you should get a shorter kind of side fringe, and get your hair cut a lil bit shorter, not too much though, just like trim, with layers, and thinned out at the ends.

maybe dye your hair all over?

or get a different colour over the blonde

Ok, I think you should keep most of the length, and do some long layers. The green is not a good color for you as it washes out your complexion, however I am not opposed to funky colors in your hair so instead maybe consider a red, blue or purple so that you look more "healthy". Big chunky blond highlights would look good as well. If you want to make a statement you could have the layers put in "choppy" in order to make it so that you can put some product in your hair to bring out the highlight colors (or funky colors) and give you lots of body. i would go for a short look, maybe just a bit shorter than shoulder length, and have it edgy at the ends, not smooth. that would look great for your face shape.

okay for one your not ugly you just need a little makeup and a new hairstyle there is a site on ivillage i think it is that has something where you can put your picture in there and they show you how you would look after a makeover . they have different hairstyles you can put on and makeup glasses all kinds of stuff if you send me your email i can put yours on and you can see what you would look like.

It should be feathered, thinned out and have choppy layers and a shorter side fringe put in (is it bangs in America?). I would take 3 or 4 inches off too. Don't get it cut between chin and shoulder length, as you have a long face shape and that cut would make your face appear longer.

If you want to experiment a bit more with colours, try some blocks of auburn/mohogany, but if you do go for auburn blocks I would go for a less red shade of brown all over, so maybe not chocolate. More like the roots colour of this person's hair:

You can see the girl in this picture has put red in her hair and it goes well (although the shade of mohogany blocks I was thinking of for you is different). If the blocks are too similar to the all over shade they won't contrast enough.

Btw, blocks are like fat streaks- about 1.5 inches thick- and you only need about 3-5, with at least one in your side fringe and the rest in your underneath layers.

Lastly, and most importantly I think, is straighteners. If you don't straighten your hair with this style (or any other suggested styles here I've seen) it won't look right, and it IS important! GHDs are the only straighteners which get that dead straight look and are around 鎷?0, but it's worth it cos I spent more than that just replacing inferior ones before I even got my GHDs. If you don't want to spend 鎷?0, here are some professionally recommended alternatives:
