My 12 year old son wants to wear his hair longer. What style would look good - - not like he needs a

He has fine hair and right now it just looks messy and like his short style is over grown. When we took him for a trim last time, the hairdresser cut his hair short and the kid was not happy. If he wants to wear his hair longer, that's fine with me. What do we tell the person cutting his hair? What's "cool" these days for 12 year old boy style? (Pictures would help a lot, but I don't know where to look.) Thanks for your help!

Let it grow out longer, try to get him to make it look nicer and if he won't do it take a picture and show him his hair, I used to not realize how bad my hair looked until I saw a picture of myself. Hope this helps!

long hairs will not look good on 12 year boy.maybe he look good in bob cut or mushroom cut, if not short hairs will look good.

He doesn't need a style. Just be patient anf let it grow. Once his bangs grow long they will be out of his face and he will be fine. You can't have long hair w/out patience.

He is not a baby so why not let him decide what he wants. It may not look good to you but he is the one that has to wear it. It does not take long and it can be changed to something else.

No wonder teens think parents are so terrible.
