I have long hair and love it but i have curly/afro hair so usually I have it in plaits or something. I therefore only let it down when I straighten it which gets tiring plus the effect only lasts for a couple of days(until I wash it) and even so I live in Ireland so i have the constant worry of rain!! Plus after a while it becomes less "straight" and more just "not curly" if you know what i mean!
I would love to get a weave to avoid all that hastle.
I have heard people say they have naturally long hair but have weaves but then again I have heard that your hair needs to be short...?? Help please!!!!! :)
Do i have to cut my hair short to get a weave?
Nope! My cousin's hair is naturally long, reaches about one hand above her butt crack. She has basically the same problem as you, so she got a weave to wear her her short. They didn't cut it just braided it up and sewed it down securely. The only thing is your weave will not be as flat as some others, but if you get a good weave, nobody will know the difference but you!

Your hair doesn't have to be short to put in a weave/extensions!
You can still glue or sew them in.
I've had them sewn in :-)
All the stylist does is make braids across your head in a pattern close to your hair growth, then she sews tracks of hair into the braids. It's pretty :-)

you do not need short hair to get a weave, a jamaican woman that does cosmetology with puts weave in all lengths of hair, and when you get the weave put it make sure you let your hair be curly, that is when it works the best.
