why do you have to get it cut short? If you're so terrified then you shouldnt do it.

You are going to have to get lots of layers to take the weight away from your thick curly hair... The bangs with thick hair usually aren't a good idea unless you are wanting to flat iron your hair everyday.

My suggestion is to go to Walmart, or Target or something and pick up a Hair Styles Magazine, pick some that you like, then take the magazine to your stylist and see which one they think will be most do-able for your hair type. Good luck

well, if they cut 10 inches or more...consider locks for love (hair donations for people with cancer and need wigs) and your hair stylist is the Best person to ask this question of...she can see what kind of face you have (oval, round, heart, etc) and knows what kind of hair you have....for example a short haircut on me would be disasterous because I have very curly hair that would just frizz and I would look like I had an afro. so ask your stylist and mom.
